I just received a “Thank You” email from NASA for my participation in the original song competition NASA’s Space Rock.
It was nice
There is also a “.pdf” file with a Certificate of Participation.
Here is the text:
Certificate of Participation
NASA’s Space Shuttle Program thanks you for your participation in the
Space Rock song contest. With 1,350 participants from all over the
world, you are now part of the rich history that is the wakeup song,
which has been a part of the space program since the days of Apollo.

Hi all
I just wanted to point out that my single “Rocket Engines” was played at Aural Innovations Space Rock Radio…
It is not very space rock song but Jerry Kranitz played it any way. Thank you Jerry !

Once again – more sales!
This month I made almost no fresh uploads to the audiostock markets as I spend a lot of time working on my first solo studio record. (I will write about it latter). However the sales are still rising
And again Pond5.com was the best selling marketplace. They sold 9 items this month and this is almost twice better than the October.
Revostock.com made no sales and this is bad as I was expecting more from this market. But I hope they will become stronger in future.
Audiojungle.net had 1 sale but this was a really hard one…. I uploaded 5 great tracks there and they rejected 3 of them. The sale was made while my items were on the main page as new items .
iStock.com – no sales again!!!

Some time ago together with my friend Adxok (playing on the drums), we recorded few tracks for the stock audio market.
As it is rare to find out this kind of records I would like to present them to you.

Sales are going up

Once on the top Pond5.com stays there. This marketplace sold 5 items this month (in fact they sold 5 times one item) which is a big step ahead considering the 2 sales in September. The other great thing about Pond5 is that they are not involving me in some unusual activities. I just compose and record music and they are selling it. At the end they take one half of the money and I take the other – nice and simple!
The other October hero was Revostock.com. They just made their first sale! I like this audio market and I hope they will go up just like Pond5!
The outsiders are Audiojungle.net and iStock.com with no sales!!!

One more interesting fact here :
All the 6 sales for October are in fact made of one single item. This is it – the October best seller….

As many other authors I made a short audio clip to point out the day

Ok this was poor month for me as I have only 3 sales. But for the slow audiostock market it seems to be not so bad.
AudioJungle proves to be the worst marketplace for me as the stuff members dislike my music and have 40% rejections and even one of my approved items was removed and the support was useless and I even received some insulting email by them !!! This marketplace shows no respect to the music content and I am considering to stop uploading new items there. Also they take 75% of the money and leave me just 25% .
The hero this month seems to be Pond5 They just started selling this month for me and made 2 out of 3 sells. They give 50% to the authors and leave them to set the price
Just great !
iStock is still death. I have 14 items there for 4 months and still no sales.
RevoStock made no sales this month but I am new there and managed to upload just 3 items. This market place seems great and I am focused to upload more music there.
